For many years my wife was a consultant with IBM, working on many projects around the world.  One favourite place was Vietnam and, while my poor wife worked near Ho Chi Minh City, I managed to travel extensively through South and North Vietnam.  The North was definitely my preferred part of that vibrant, colourful country.
